Terms of Service for How NOT to Call the Plumber Newsletter Last Updated: January 26, 2025 By subscribing to and using the How NOT to Call the Plumber newsletter (the "Newsletter"), you agree to the following Terms of Service (the "Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully before subscribing. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not subscribe to or use the Newsletter. General Information 1.1. The Newsletter is provided by Watermark Plumbing Services Inc. ("Provider"), operating under the laws of Ontario, Canada. 1.2. The purpose of the Newsletter is to provide general information and advice related to basic plumbing maintenance and problem-solving. Promotional Offer – $50 Off First Service Call 2.1. By signing up for the Newsletter, subscribers are eligible to receive a one-time discount of $50 off their first service call with Watermark Plumbing Services Inc. (the “Company”). 2.2. The discount is available to new subscribers who have not previously used the Company’s services and is limited to one use per household. It cannot be transferred, shared, or combined with any other promotions, discounts, or offers. 2.3. To redeem the offer, the subscriber must mention the promotion when scheduling their first service appointment. The discount will be applied to the final invoice upon completion of the service. 2.4. The offer applies only to standard residential plumbing services and excludes commercial work, emergency services, and parts/equipment costs. 2.5. The promotional offer must be used within 12 months of signing up for the Newsletter. After this period, the discount will no longer be valid. 2.6. The Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue this offer at any time without prior notice. No Professional Advice 3.1. The content of the Newsletter is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional plumbing advice, services, or recommendations. 3.2. The information provided in the Newsletter should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional consultation or service from a licensed plumber. Limitation of Liability 4.1. The Provider and any affiliated companies, employees, contractors, or agents shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of information provided in the Newsletter. 4.2. The Provider is not responsible for any damage, injury, financial loss, or inconvenience resulting from the application of advice contained in the Newsletter. Indemnification 5.1. Subscribers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Provider, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of their use of the information provided in the Newsletter. Subscription Terms 6.1. Subscribers must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian. 6.2. Subscriptions to the Newsletter are personal and non-transferable. Intellectual Property 7.1. All content, including text, images, and graphics, provided in the Newsletter is the intellectual property of the Provider and is protected under copyright laws. 7.2. Subscribers may not reproduce, distribute, or share content from the Newsletter without prior written consent from the Provider. Privacy Policy 8.1. Subscriber information will be collected, stored, and used in accordance with applicable privacy laws in Ontario, Canada. 8.2. The Provider will not sell, share, or distribute subscriber information without explicit consent, except as required by law. Termination 9.1. The Provider reserves the right to terminate any subscription at its discretion, with or without notice. 9.2. Subscribers may terminate their subscription at any time by following the unsubscribe link provided in each email. Dispute Resolution 10.1. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms will be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and resolved in the courts of Ontario. Changes to Terms 11.1. The Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Subscribers will be notified of changes via email or an update notice in the Newsletter. 11.2. Continued use of the Newsletter after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. By subscribing to the How NOT to Call the Plumber Newsletter, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
